After Operation Sindoor against Pakistan, the central government may increase the defense budget by Rs 50,000 crore. The Defense Ministry has proposed to increase the fund to the government, which may get approval in the winter session of Parliament during November-December. It has been told that new weapons, ammunition and technology will be purchased from this fund.
