New Delhi: Precious metal prices continued their sharp decline as silver dropped by ₹5,494 per kilogram on Friday, extending its three-day fall to nearly ₹21,000. Gold also slipped by ₹2,305, bringing the price down to ₹1.40 lakh per 10 grams. Overall, gold has become ₹16,000 cheaper this month amid weak global cues and changing investor sentiment in bullion markets.
