New Delhi: Gold and silver prices witnessed a sharp rise in the bullion market. Silver climbed by ₹3,159 to reach ₹2.22 lakh per kilogram, while 10 grams of gold increased by ₹1,150 to ₹1.43 lakh. Market experts believe gold prices could touch ₹1.60 lakh this year if global economic uncertainty and demand continue to remain strong.
