Defence Minister Rajnath Singh flagged off the NCC’s All India Girls High Altitude Long Trek, Aparajita Parang La 2026, in New Delhi. The 30 day expedition covers 250 kilometres across Parang La Pass, connecting Himachal Pradesh’s Spiti Valley with Ladakh’s Changthang region. Twenty-eight girl cadets, led by three women officers, are participating in the challenging trek.
