Prime Minister Narendra Modi met rebel MPs from the Trinamool Congress and the Uddhav Thackeray faction at his residence during a meeting attended by around 45 parliamentarians. According to reports, the Prime Minister assured the lawmakers that they need not worry and told them the government would continue to stand by their side.
