Gold and silver prices witnessed a sharp decline today. Silver dropped by Rs 2,623 to reach Rs 2.65 lakh per kilogram. Ten grams of gold is now priced at Rs 1.59 lakh. Experts attribute the fall to volatility in international commodity markets. Jewellers and buyers have welcomed the dip, with many expected to make purchases at the lower rates.
