Esha Deol and her husband Bharat Takhtani have announced their divorce after eleven years of marriage. The couple stated in a joint statement that they are “amicably” separating. Esha is the daughter of veteran actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini.

We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways, according to the statement provided to Delhi Times. The welfare and best interests of our two children have been and will continue to be our top priorities during this change in our lives. We would value having our privacy respected”. Esha and Bharat tied the knot in 2012 and have two daughters. The two went to the same school but later met after 10 years and love blossomed.

Both of them were not seen together at many social functions like Hema Malini’s birthday, Esha’s birthday and at Aamir Khan Ira’s wedding.
