New Delhi: Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi, Shiv Sena (UBT), and leaders of several opposition parties met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. They condemned the alleged lathi-charge on peaceful protesters at Jantar Mantar and urged the Speaker to ensure accountability. The delegation also sought appropriate action and stressed the need to protect citizens’ democratic right to peaceful protest.
