Kolkata: A major political development has emerged in West Bengal as 58 Trinamool Congress legislators reportedly formed a separate group. Ritabrata Banerjee has been chosen as the leader of the new legislative faction. Reports indicate that the Assembly Speaker has also granted recognition to the newly formed group, deepening the crisis within the party.
