New Delhi: The government has said that a decision on petrol and diesel prices is likely within the next two to three months. Officials stated that refineries are still processing expensive crude oil purchased during the Iran conflict, which has resulted in losses of nearly ₹74,781 crore. The government indicated that any relief in fuel prices will depend on global oil trends and inventory costs.
