New Delhi: Rouse Avenue Court has convicted Mahila Congress president Alka Lamba in a case linked to a protest near Parliament. The case relates to an alleged attempt by around 300 protesters to enter the Parliament complex from Jantar Mantar in July 2024 while demanding women’s reservation. Sentencing arguments will continue on June 5.
