Srinagar: The annual Amarnath Yatra commenced today with the first batch of around 4,800 pilgrims arriving in Kashmir under tight security arrangements. Authorities have established oxygen booths every two kilometres along the route to assist devotees. Additionally, 12 waterproof domes have been constructed on the Baltal route to provide shelter and ensure safer movement during adverse weather conditions.
