Sikh families and leaders protested outside Rahul Gandhi’s residence over remarks describing former Congress leader Sajjan Kumar as a hero and role model. Protesters reportedly burned his effigy and demanded accountability from Congress. Kumar, who was convicted in 1984 anti-Sikh riots cases, died two days ago while serving a life sentence. The protest has intensified political controversy over the remarks.
