Mumbai: More than 100 tourists stranded near a waterfall in Maharashtra were rescued with the help of ropes as heavy rainfall disrupted normal life across the state. In Vasai, around 20 vehicles were submerged due to severe waterlogging, while two people lost their lives after trees collapsed. In neighbouring Gujarat, a car was swept away by strong floodwaters, prompting authorities to issue fresh warnings.
