CHANDIGARH: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has announced that the murder investigation of anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhota will be handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation. The decision follows demands from Jhota’s family and supporters for an independent probe. Jhota was shot dead in Mansa on October 13. His killing sparked protests and renewed debate over drug-related crime.
