NEW DELHI: Former West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal were reportedly detained while heading towards Jantar Mantar for a CJP protest. Organisers had called the demonstration against alleged voter-list irregularities and the Special Intensive Revision, demanding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation. Heavy barricading and a large security deployment restricted protesters’ movement across several parts of Delhi.
