New Delhi: The Supreme Court has declared the Wrestling Federation of India’s petition against Vinesh Phogat’s participation in selection trials as infructuous. The plea had challenged a Delhi High Court order allowing the wrestler to compete in the trials. The court observed that subsequent developments had rendered the matter irrelevant for further consideration.
