Mumbai: Indian stock markets rallied strongly with the Sensex jumping 1,074 points to close at 76,489. Nifty also gained 312 points to settle above the 24,000 mark at 24,032. Strong buying was witnessed in auto and banking stocks, boosting overall investor confidence in the market.
