Counting of votes has begun for the 243 seats of the Bihar Assembly. Postal ballots are being counted first. This will be completed by 8:30 pm. EVMs will then be opened, and only then will trends begin to emerge. Fourteen EVMs will be counted in one round, for which 14 tables have been set up at each counting center. The Barbigha result will be the first to be announced.
