GUWAHATI: Assam Police arrested 17 Bangladeshi nationals during routine checking near Paltan Bazar railway station in Guwahati, officials said. Five of those arrested were reportedly found travelling in the general coach of the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express. Police are investigating their identities and circumstances of entry, while authorities continue checks at railway stations amid heightened security and immigration concerns.
