A 31-year-old OnlyFans model, Michaela Brashaye Rylaarsdam, has been charged with second-degree murder after a fetish session with a client ended in his death.

According to The San Diego Union-Tribune, the incident occurred in April 2023 when 55-year-old Michael Dale paid Rylaarsdam $11,000 (approximately ₹9.57 lakh) for a bondage session at his home in Escondido, California. The act involved mummification-style wrapping, as per Dale’s request.

Court documents revealed that Dale was found with a plastic bag over his head, secured with duct tape, while Rylaarsdam recorded the session for her OnlyFans content. Video evidence showed that Dale remained trapped in the bag for at least eight minutes. The model also allegedly glued boots to his feet, which was part of the agreed-upon fetish scenario.

Authorities stated that when police arrived at Dale’s residence, they found Rylaarsdam performing CPR on him. He was taken to a hospital, declared brain dead the following day, and was later removed from life support. His cause of death was determined to be oxygen deprivation, leading investigators to conclude he had suffocated.

Although Dale’s death occurred in 2023, charges against Rylaarsdam were only filed last month. Prosecutor David Jarman argued that the circumstances justified a second-degree murder charge. However, Rylaarsdam’s attorney maintained that there was no intent to kill.

Investigators uncovered additional videos on Rylaarsdam’s phone, showing Dale in distress while bound with duct tape and plastic wrap. The evidence suggested he was unable to free himself from the bag and restraints.

The affidavit further stated that, just before calling 911, Rylaarsdam engaged in a separate sex act—likely filming content for her OnlyFans—while Dale lay unresponsive nearby. Despite her claims that she did not place the bag over his head, authorities allege that the act ultimately led to his fatal suffocation.
