US President Donald Trump announced on Monday that he has revoked Secret Service protection for Hunter Biden and Ashley Biden, the children of former President Joe Biden.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated, “Hunter Biden has had Secret Service protection for an extended period of time, all paid for by the United States taxpayer.” He further added, “Effective immediately, Hunter Biden will no longer receive Secret Service protection. Likewise, Ashley Biden, who had 13 agents, will be removed from the list.”
Trump’s decision came shortly after a reporter questioned him about Hunter Biden’s security detail. The president responded that he had been unaware of it but would look into the matter.
