Donald Trump is all set to be the 47th US president. In a spirited address to his supporters at his Palm Beach rally in Florida, Donald Trump vowed to relentlessly fight for the American people, promising to “not rest until delivering a strong, safe, and prosperous America.” The former president, speaking to a jubilant crowd, reiterated his deep commitment to the nation’s future, declaring, “Every single day, I will be fighting for you with every breath in my body,” which sparked loud cheers from the audience.
Trump’s speech came as he gained significant momentum in the race, with early results showing strong performances in key battleground states, bringing him closer to a potential victory. His success in Florida—once a swing state but now a Republican stronghold—was a crucial win, and he also secured victories in other traditionally conservative states such as Texas, South Carolina, and Indiana. Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris held her ground in Democratic strongholds like New York, Massachusetts, and Illinois.
The election race remained tightly contested, with some analysts suggesting Harris held a narrow lead over Trump in crucial states like Pennsylvania. Throughout her campaign, Harris focused on issues that resonated with many voters, pledging to support the middle class, deliver tax cuts for over 100 million Americans, make housing more affordable, and safeguard women’s rights, especially on abortion access.
Trump, on the other hand, made bold promises of his own, including economic growth, lowering energy costs, raising tariffs on foreign goods—especially from China—and launching a significant deportation plan for undocumented immigrants.
The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also congratulated Donald Trump on his historic victory in the US Presidential Election. Modi said he looked forward to renew the collaboration to further strengthen the India-US Comprehensive Global and Strategic Partnership.
