The latest season of Bigg Boss OTT concluded last week, crowning Sana Makbul as the winner. Among the top five contestants, Kritika Malik was the first to be eliminated during the finale night, as announced by the special guest, Anil Kapoor.
A viral video captured the poignant moment of Kritika’s exit. After Kapoor announced her elimination, Kritika stood up from the couch, wished luck to her fellow contestant Ranvir Shorey, and bid farewell. In the clip, Shorey can be seen hugging Kritika and kissing her on the cheek. Armaan Malik’s reaction to Ranvir’s gesture was also highlighted in the video, drawing attention online.
One of the season’s major incidents involved Armaan Malik slapping Vishal Pandey over allegations that Pandey had been checking out Kritika, who is Armaan’s wife. Payal Malik, during a Weekend Ka Vaar episode, revealed that Vishal had admitted to liking Kritika and feeling guilty about it. Vishal countered that his words were taken out of context, but Armaan, nevertheless, slapped him. Following the incident, Vishal’s parents appeared on the show to confront Armaan, who then apologized to Pandey. Payal Malik also issued a video statement apologizing to Vishal and expressed her desire to move past the incident.
In an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Vishal Pandey recounted the ordeal and how it affected his social interactions within the house. He shared that, except for Lovekesh Kataria, Sana Makbul, and Shivani Kumari, no one would sit or talk with him, making him feel isolated and judged.
“Nobody used to sit with me except Lovekesh Kataria, Sana Makbul, and Shivani Kumari. Nobody talked to me. They looked at me as if I were a monster. It was so difficult. I felt suffocated. Comments were made about my character. It was tough,” Pandey revealed.
