NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said digital technology has transformed access to essential services, with banking and healthcare increasingly available through mobile phones. Speaking at the Mobile Congress, Modi said these digital systems helped prevent around ₹5 lakh crore from reaching wrong hands. He also recalled that India launched 5G services from the same platform in 2022, highlighting the country’s digital progress.
