New Delhi: The Election Commission has rolled back several changes linked to the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. The revised process removes personal hearings for certain objections and restores the earlier Form 6 procedure in specified circumstances. The changes follow political and legal concerns surrounding SIR. The Commission said electoral officials can examine objections using written submissions and supporting documents.
