New Delhi: Opposition parties have demanded the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar after reports of repeated disagreements within the Election Commission over electoral roll revision decisions. The Opposition has also sought a court-monitored probe and a pause in the Special Intensive Revision process. The Election Commission has maintained that its final decisions were unanimous despite differing internal views.
