Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, said festivals should remain open to everyone amid a controversy over demands to restrict Muslims from entering Garba and Dandiya venues. The Vishva Hindu Parishad has sought such restrictions in Mumbai and Maharashtra, supported by minister Nitesh Rane. Amruta said she sees nothing wrong if Muslims attend and enjoy festivals respectfully.
