The India Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rainfall today across Bihar, East Rajasthan, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and parts of the northeastern states. IMD also predicted thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Bihar, Interior Karnataka, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, West Bengal and Sikkim during the day.
