Former Congress MP Sajjan Kumar, who was serving a life sentence in connection with the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, has died in Tihar Jail. Kumar had faced three cases related to the riots. He was acquitted in one case but convicted in two others. He was serving his sentence when he died in custody.
