Puducherry: The Union Government has launched a Central Bank Digital Currency based food subsidy distribution programme. Union Minister Pralhad Joshi inaugurated the initiative under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana. The project aims to enhance transparency and ensure efficient delivery of food subsidies using digital currency for eligible beneficiaries across the region.
