India’s Test captain Shubman Gill is unlikely to play in the Guwahati Test. Gill retired hurt after playing three balls in the first innings of the first Test. He did not bat in the second innings. Gill was admitted to Woodlands Hospital in Kolkata on Saturday after complaining of neck spasms. He was discharged on Sunday evening.
