Iran ordered its citizens to delete WhatsApp from their smartphones. The government alleges that information of Iranian people is being sent to Israel through the messaging app. However, WhatsApp rejected these claims in a statement and said that WhatsApp uses end-to-end encryption, which means that the service provider cannot read the messages of the users.
