In a recent revelation, the long-speculated separation of Bollywood actress Esha Deol and her husband Bharat Takhtani has been confirmed. Following Esha’s announcement earlier this month regarding their decision to part ways after 11 years of marriage, insider sources have disclosed that the divorce did not come as a surprise to the family.

According to reports, the couple had been contemplating separation for some time, with the decision being finalized prior to the official announcement. An unnamed insider shared with Zoom, “It was brewing for a while. Esha and her husband had decided to part ways for some time now. They were just waiting for the right time to announce their separation. Now that it is out of the way, Esha is trying to move on with her life.”

The source also revealed that Esha’s mother, veteran actress Hema Malini, is supportive of her daughter’s decision and has chosen not to comment on the matter publicly. “She is certainly not commenting on her daughter’s decision to divorce her husband. It is Esha’s life and Hemaji will not meddle. She never has. She is with her daughter now, as she has always been. But Hemaji is not accountable for her daughter’s actions,” the insider added.

Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani tied the knot in 2012 and share two daughters, Radhya and Miraya, aged six and four respectively. The couple released a joint statement announcing their separation, emphasizing their commitment to the well-being of their children and requesting privacy during this transition period.
