Speculation about their marriage surfaced when a viral video circulated online, featuring a woman seeking guidance from spiritual guru Premanand Govind Sharan. Viewers identified the woman as Rathee, who reportedly spoke about concerns regarding infidelity and the custody of their two daughters, Kiara and Pihu.

Amid the ongoing rumors, both Taneja and Rathee have acknowledged difficulties in their relationship. Following the viral video, Taneja posted a cryptic message on Instagram, writing, “Joi Joi pyaaro kare, soi mohe bhave”—translated as, “Those who love me, I love in return.” In his post, Taneja stated, “I will remain quiet for my kids and the mother of my child. Ready to live with all the negativity and hate for my entire life. Please don’t expect any public explanation.”
Taneja also appealed to his followers to avoid jumping to conclusions, adding, “Men are made villains very fast. We don’t cry, we talk less, and express less. Some of us are hardwired like that.”
Rathee, addressing the divorce rumors in a candid Instagram video, admitted to being the woman in the viral clip but denied being wronged by her husband. She praised Taneja for empowering her during their eight-year marriage, saying, “The same man during these eight years made me equally capable that I can nurture my children alone. How many men in India have made their wives equally capable?”
Acknowledging the strain on their relationship, Rathee said, “Something must have happened. It hurt him this time, and it hurt me too. He thought he was right, and I thought I was right. He became stubborn, and so did I.” Despite the challenges, she defended her husband’s character, stating, “There are very few people who deserve respect.
