The grand finale of Bigg Boss OTT 3, held on Friday evening, saw Sana Makbul emerging victorious, defeating finalists Ranvir Shorey and rapper Naezy, whose real name is Naved Shaikh. Sana clinched the coveted trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh.
The finale was a culmination of intense competition, with Sana Makbul and Naezy engaging in a gripping contest for the title. Sana, who had garnered immense support from the audience throughout the season, secured her win with overwhelming public votes.
The event was not without its share of drama. Following the announcement of the winner, Ranvir Shorey made a controversial statement, suggesting that contestants were being retained based on their social media following. “Agar sirf social media following ke basis pe show pe rahenge, toh usse achha yeh hai ke jiski sabse zyada social media following hai usko seedha trophy de do (If staying on the show is only based on social media following, then it’s better to just give the trophy directly to the one with the most followers),” Shorey remarked.
The finale was a spectacular affair, featuring impressive performances and touching moments. Celebrities such as Armaan Malik, Payal Malik, and others joined in the celebrations. The crowd erupted in cheers when Anil Kapoor announced Sana Makbul as the winner, celebrating her achievement.
In a poignant moment during the finale, Ranvir Shorey was summoned to the confession room where he watched a heartfelt video message from Shehnaaz Gill, a Bigg Boss 13 finalist. In the message, Shehnaaz congratulated Ranvir and encouraged him, expressing her hope that he would find ample opportunities post-show. “Hello Ranvir sir, main aapko mubarakbaad dena chahti hu. Aapne game ko itni honesty ke sath khela hai. Aapne apni real personality utni hi sachchaai ke sath dikhaayi jitni sachchaai ke sath aap screen pe acting karte ho.
