Centre relaxes passport and visa norms for refugees and neighboring cross-border travel

The Central Government notified the Immigration and Foreigners (Exemption) (Amendment) Order, 2026, relaxing passport and visa rules for several categories of foreign residents, including minority refugees, registered Sri Lankan Tamils, Tibetans, and certain Pakistani nationals.
