NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Monday refused to pass an interim order seeking suspension of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over allegations related to the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. The bench headed by Chief Justice Surya Kant issued notices to the Centre and Election Commission. The Court said it would examine whether any statutory provisions were violated.
