New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah said India must become drug-free to build Viksit Bharat, calling the fight against narcotics one of the government’s most difficult battles. Speaking at the third National Conference of Anti-Narcotics Task Force heads, Shah stressed coordinated action and outlined a December 31, 2029 deadline for achieving the government’s stated drug-free India objective nationwide.
