The Lok Sabha has passed a stringent law to curb paper leaks and malpractices in public examinations. The legislation provides for imprisonment of up to seven years and a fine of up to ₹10 crore for those found guilty. The government said the law aims to ensure transparency, fairness and credibility in recruitment and competitive examinations.
