New Delhi: Wholesale inflation rose to 9.81 percent in June, the highest level in 44 months, driven by rising prices of food, beverages, and essential household items. Retail inflation has also increased continuously for the past six months, adding pressure on consumers. The sustained rise in prices has raised fresh concerns over the overall cost of living.
