Jammu and Kashmir: Security forces have eliminated Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Zakir Ahmad during an anti-terror operation in Shopian. Zakir was among the most wanted terrorists and was on the hit list prepared after the Pahalgam terror attack. The encounter came after a five-day-long operation in the area, with security agencies continuing search and sanitisation efforts.
