New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Suzuki now manufactures nearly two-thirds of its global automobile production in India, highlighting the country’s growing industrial strength. He also announced that around 1,000 fertiliser units will be established with Japanese cooperation to boost agricultural productivity. During his remarks, the Prime Minister affectionately referred to Japanese leader Sanae Takaichi as his sister, underlining strong bilateral ties.
