New Delhi: Union Minister Prahlad Joshi said the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has imposed a ₹7 lakh penalty on a private coaching institute for misleading advertisements related to UPSC Civil Services Examination 2023 results. He stated that the action under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 reinforces transparency, accountability and students’ rights in the coaching sector.
