NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued fresh guidelines regarding the national song ‘Vande Mataram’. According to the new directive, the song must be played before the National Anthem at all government programs, schools, and formal events. It is now mandatory for everyone to stand during the official six-stanza version, which lasts 3 minutes and 10 seconds.
