New Delhi: A 6.0 magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar on Tuesday night, with powerful tremors felt in Kolkata and parts of Eastern India. The quake, centered in Rakhine state at a depth of 27 km, caused panic as residents rushed out of buildings. While the vibrations reached Bangladesh, no major casualties or structural damage have been reported in India so far.
