Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc reached his 100th Ashes Test wicket in the 23rd Ashes Test. He is the 20th bowler to take 100 Ashes wickets, and the first left-arm fast bowler to do so. Starc achieved this feat with a strike rate of 44.8, better than any previous 100-wicket haul.
