The nomination process for the second and final phase of the Bihar Assembly elections ended on Monday. According to the Election Commission, a total of 1,314 candidates are in the fray for the first phase. More than 300 candidates’ nominations were rejected, and 61 withdrew. The status of candidates for the second phase will be clear by October 23.
