The Supreme Court on Wednesday allowed the bursting of green firecrackers in Delhi-NCR. CJI B.R. Justice Gavai said, “We must adopt a balanced approach, but we will not compromise on the environment. We are allowing the burning of green firecrackers with certain conditions.” According to the Supreme Court order, firecrackers will only be permitted in Delhi-NCR from October 18th to 21st.
