    Indian Air Force’s MiG-21 aircraft retired from today

    The MiG-21 aircraft, considered the backbone of the Indian Air Force, was retired on Friday. The fighter jet was given a farewell at the Chandigarh Air Base. The aircraft’s service officially ended today. At the farewell ceremony, Air Force Chief AP Singh flew the last sortie with six jets from 23 Squadron. Squadron Leader Priya Sharma also participated in the flypast.
